Four years ago when i sat with Mike (Endo) from MIDI Monsters, we had extensively gone into Traktor and what it does to help me DJ the way I want to. Things like keyboard shortcuts, beat jumping, quick access to browse folders, cueing tracks the way I was used to DJing and more was all key in the mappings. Now I can use Traktor with my eyes shut. The mappings have become integral in the way I DJ. When Mike discovered the CDJ HID mappings, that nailed it for me. I can now use them as controllers now alongside my custom X1 mapping and have almost the same functions i have on the X1s but with the added CDJ power. I developed my own way after that.
